Join us in our continuing discourse on the importance of words. We will be discussing speech, how we form it, how we develop it, what it entails and how we consider what we say and it can affect others. We will also continue on with our study of stoicism has taught by Epictetus.
We will discuss the nature of language using our list of ten words. By considering the processes involved in our mind We will try to unravel the steps and the assumptions which must be made in order to communicate with others and inside ourselves. We will also try to look at how this process affects our actual physiological state.
We will discuss how we act what power we have what power we think we have and do we really have any power at all? Join us for a dynamic and interesting discussion referencing many different philosophical approaches.
We will be discussing Epictetus’ Enchiridion and how we can apply it to daily practice as well as comparing and contrasting it with Buddhadharma and other philosophies.
