Contemplative awareness methods have been taught and practiced in human societies for over 4000 years. Different cultures have given rise to various methods but the end goal was the same; to become aware of one’s own processes, emotional, mental and physical in order to live a happier, healthier and fulfilling life.
Many well-established scientific studies have verified and confirmed the benefits of these practice on our health, both mental and physical, as well as happiness and satisfaction, in our lives. This naturally leads to more harmonious societies and human relationships in private and public life.
However, one can easily become confused and even overwhelmed by the multitude of practices on offer while seeking an answer to one’s dilemmas and the difficulties in life.
We have therefore developed an integrated and inclusive 2-step methodology drawn from practices of various wisdom traditions:
Step 1. Mindful Self-Reflection
Step 2. Mindful Self-Focus
Mindful = to be Alert to and Aware of and pay attention to;
Self-Reflection = Through questioning, to look inside and become aware of what is happening at various levels internally and then to reflect it outwardly and observe how it impacts our perception of our situation and then again to observe the reflection from our interaction with our environment and how it impacts our perception and experience internally.
Self-Focus = to concentrate our attention with intention on one aspect/point of that which is occurring in our perception with our mind.
It is our hope that these skills used in a non-judgmental and open environment, will benefit everyone as they
become more adept and familiar with the process.
Join us and let us see how we can grow together for our own benefit and through that for the benefit of our
loved ones, society and our planet.
