To enter by practice refers to four all-inclusive practices: suffering injustice, adapting to conditions, seeking nothing, and practicing according to the Dharma.

But while practicing the Six Paramitas (generosity, morality, forbearance, devotion, meditation, and wisdom) to eliminate delusion, practitioners practice nothing at all. This is what is meant by "practicing according to the Dharma."



Bodhidharma (5/6c ?-), Bodhidharma was a semi-legendary Buddhist monk who lived during the 5th or 6th century. He is traditionally credited as the transmitter of Chan Buddhism to China, and regarded as its first Chinese patriarch.
