Daily quote


The Water is the very place of the true Dragon

It is beyond flowing or falling.

If we recognise it only as something that flows,

The word ‘ flowing’ slanders the water.

One reason for this is tact the use of the word forces it to be something not flowing.



Dogen (1200-1253), Dōgen Zenji , was a Japanese Buddhist priest, writer, poet, philosopher, and founder of the Sōtō school of Zen in Japan.
