The Way needs no cultivation;only do not defile it.
What is defilement? When there is the mind of birth and death, with contrived activity and directed seeking, all this is defilement.
If you wish to realise the Way directly, ordinary mind is the Way.
What is meant by ordinary mind?
No contrived activity;no right or wrong;no grasping or rejecting;neither annihilation nor permanence;neither profane nor holy.
