One inherits a way of living produced by innumerable conditions—culture, fear, desire, necessity, environment, religion, economics, power, inherited assumptions, and so forth. If one simply rejects its visible form and constructs something supposedly “better,” while remaining unaware of those originating conditions, then the new construction arises from essentially the same conditioned mind.

Therefore, what appears to be progress may merely be reconfiguration.
