This idea that it is hard to give up long- familiarised habitual patterns is the single cause that gives rise to the variety of dukkha* in existence. 

*dukkha - Contemporary translators have preferred to either leave the term untranslated or to clarify that translation with terms such as anxiety, distress, frustration, unease, unsatisfactoriness.



Jamyang Gönpo (1196 CE-?), Jamyhang Gönpo, (ordained name - Sherap Jungne) was born in South East Tibet and began studying at the age of 6. He has authored several treatises which have become an essential part of the Chöd Buddhist Tradition.
