Seeing the object with the eye is only one small part of vision. It’s the other part that one often seems ignorant of or oblivious to. If we pay more attention to what lies beneath the surface of the process,  perhaps we will be clearer on what we are actually seeing. 

Padmapani (1954-), Padmapani is a Dharma teacher, a disciple of the late Ven. Subhadra Goldwater. He has studied and practiced oriental medicine for the past 40 years and is one of the founding members of the the Path to Wisdom project.
