Real love (full of joy and compassion) blooms when we care more about another person than we care about ourselves. Which requires us to learn to wholly love ourself first. And if it is real then it will be evident in the kindness we show, the respect we give, and the selflessness and courtesy we employ in our personal relationships

Padmapani (1954-), Padmapani is a Dharma teacher, a disciple of the late Ven. Subhadra Goldwater. He has studied and practiced oriental medicine for the past 40 years and is one of the founding members of the the Path to Wisdom project.
